Victoria Bark

Here are some illustrations and a logo I did a few months ago for a new dog groomers in London. Victoria Bark opened this summer, near Victoria Park and it is run by the very lovely Becca and her side-kick Snippy (THE whippet that made us get our whippet). If you are ever in the area you should pop in: the shop is gorgeous and Becca stocks a really great range of dog toys, treats and food. Christmas at the Barn

Tonight I'm setting off for lovely Somerset to get up bright and early for Christmas at the Barn. I designed the flyers, posters etc.. (toilet signs too) for this lovely event, so let's hope they did their job and lots of people come! Box of Birds will have a stand there, so do come along if you are near by.

Bloesem Kids Banner Design Competition

Irene Hoof, author of the very popular blogs Bloesem and Bloesem Kids has just revealed the final 27 banner designs being considered for BKids banner design competition. The finalists can be viewed here. The design I entered is one of them! Winners will be announced on Friday 2nd April. Until then, Irene is encouraging people to leave their comments on her blog to let her know which design you like the best. (I'm number 22 if that helps) :)

A nice surprise in the post today - 100 teeny tiny little cards. I ordered them just a couple of days ago, so they've come much sooner than expected. I'm going to use these little guys as compliments slips and for Etsy sales. Brilliant.

So this is my first post in this nice new blog! I thought I'd start with some work which I noticed came out very recently. I did some little illustrations for The Body Shop a while ago and here they are on their new Buriti Baby range. Have to say I only drew the little birdy and the berries - can't take the credit for the whole thing. But I think these bottles are looking pretty cute.
